v1 register problems

Ok I bought a v1 from a guy used. He said he never used it but lost the info and box that it came with. How can I get this thing registered?

Please send the FlashScan V1 serial number to [email protected] and we can send you the registration details.

To get the serial number:
- Connect FlashScan v1 to your PC
- Open the Tune Tool
- Go to the 'Help->FlashScan v1 PCM Licensing' menu option

Please also be aware that if the person you purchased the device from upgraded to FlashScan V2, EFILive will not issue additional PCM licenses to what is now your FlashScan V1 interface.

When I click on PCM licensing Its says EFILIVE unable to communicate with flashscan. When I installed the flashscan it said the install was complete. Im on windows vista and I downloaded the 7.5 version from efilive.

Also when im installing the new hardware for the flashscan which folder do I tell to get the install software from.
