LS1 swap, where to start

Im a EFIlive newbie here so bear with me! I just picked up a used V1 and im awaiting its arrival...should be here early next week. In the mean time im trying to read up on what to do but its a bit overwhelming!! I installed a cam only LS1 motor into my Nova and im using a Techrod harness. It will basically be a bracket race car and go to a cruise night once in a while. Heres a breakdown of the motor
Stock LS1 longblock
T Rex Cam
FRPP 30 lb injectors
Fast 92/92
The usual bolt ons....long tubes and such.
I want to try and tune this in SD but my question is OLSD or CLSD and why? I know right away I need to disable VATS. The PCM im using right now is a stock 2002 6 speed pcm. The car has a turbo 350 so I dont have a VSS. ANy basic help that anyone can give me to get the car to start once I disabve VATS will be appreciated. Also, does anyone know offhand the IFR valves for the Ford Red Top 30lb injector?
