    Default HELP!!! Flashscan V2 problems

OK Guys, I was working on a tune, and everything was going great, but when I unplugged the flashscan from the pc to move everything outside, it all went wrong. The pc doesn't recognize the flashscan at all. I uninstalled the program from the pc, reinstalled everything, and the flashscan is still not recognized by the pc. When I try to upgrade the firmware I get a message "cant connect to Flashscan V2. The parameter is incorrect. Win32 error:87". Any ideas would certainly help. Thanks,
    Mark

The USB Controller is recognizing the Flashscan as a FTDI FT8U2XX Device instead of FlashscanV2

You need the FTD2xxx driver on your PC: http://download.efilive.com/drivers/...vers_3_1_2.zip

    Instructions:
    1. Unzip the contents of zip file into a temporary folder.
    2. Included in the zip file are three installation documents. Follow the instructions in the document that matches your PC's operating system.
    3. Where the instructions require you to browse to the EFILive\Drivers folder on the CD, substitute the temporary folder into which you extracted the contents of the zip file.

No luck...it still does the same thing. When I try to open the stock .tun file from my pickup, it gives me an unregognized PCM warning. Anyone else have any ideas?

    So is the problem:
    - That V2 drivers are not working?
    - that the PCM image that you read is not recognised?

Is laptop looking for a device that doesn't exist?
You haven't had a FTDI device previously installed?
If so you might try uninstalling it including any registry entries.

    Regards,

    Neil.
