for some reason the OS can not be determined by the tune.exe,
scan.exe has no problem and everything else works fine i just can`t flash.
the option the load a new OS is not available or i would try that.

my other PC has 7.5.4 (build 67)
    and flashes with no problems,
is anyone else having this issue with 7.5.5 (build 72)?

Can you please locate the file:
    \My Documents\EFILive\V7.5\Bug Reports\YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS_Download.blx
    where:
YYYYMMDD is the year, month and day
    and:
HHMMSS is the hour, minute and second
that you attempted to flash the controller.

Please send that file to me at paul@efilive.com and
include a link to this message so that I can correlate
    your file with this message.

    Regards
    Paul

I have your email, thanks. I'll look at it later tonight.
While waiting for the email, I tried flashing LS1 97/98 and LS1 99+ and E38 and saw no problems.
But once I look through the trace I'll have a better idea.
    Regards

i have no problems with build 72 except for this (so far)
reading the tune it shows the VIN and OS i also re-installed the VIN to make sure
there was`nt a corruption from the last time i flashed.

i can flash with my other laptop and V7.5.4 (build 67).

    FWIW
when i`ve used the updater (twice) since the initial
install of V7.5.5 i got installation failed while it was installing but
after the full installation of the update is done i got the
    update was successful dialog box.

Can you send me a *.blx of a successful flash on exactly the same PCM/vehicle using V7.5.4 build 67?

Try downloading the latest full install (V7.5.5.72) and try flashing after successfully installing that release.
