I think Ross said somewhere that the flashscan input is actually 0-4.8V so I reprogrammed the LC1 output #2 to that scale. Is that acceptable or should I put it back to 0-5V???

Leave it at 0-5V.

FlashScan's full scale/range is true 0.0-5.0V, it's just that the top 0.15 Volts are clipped due to the voltage/spike protection circuitry. The flashscan A/D conversion range is NOT rescaled to 0 to 4.85 Volts.
