View Full Version : Stupid V2/firmware question

my computer had issues and had to have reformatted and could not retrieve anything. I had an older version of 7.4...or maybe 7.5... it worked fine for my needs so I never went to 7.55.

Now, when reinstalling the old software I thought I had, now I can't log or get real time dash data.

I do remember upgrading my firmware at one point. I've searched everywhere and can't find how to know what firmware is currently in my V2.

Can I find out or should I just say the hell with it and start over with 7.55? Guessing I still might want to know what is currently in my V2 anyway?:help2::doh2:

if I remember right, go into efi explorer and click on the firmware tab. Will then tell you the bootblock and firware versions

If you did upgrade your V2's bootblock/firmware you will know that you did (it was a tedious nightmarish living-dead blood/gore process)... ;)

Oh, yeah, I did update, I remember it was hell, like four steps I think  I just don't want to lock my cable up crossing fimrware versions or something stupid like that. nobody needs a locked up cable

I'm begining to think I was running 7.53, I'm guessing if I can find out my firmware version I would know exactly what I had been running.

Hopefully that post about explorer works !

Thanks!
