UPDATE: March 18, 2009:
There are still a few (less than 10) places left for beta testers. We will continue to process applications until Friday 20th March.

EFILive's AutoCal product is almost ready. But before we make it available we'd like to verify its performance and stability in real world conditions. If you would like to help us to make AutoCal the best it can be, then please apply to join our beta test program.

To qualify to be an AutoCal beta tester, you must fulfill all of these pre-requisites:

Be an existing EFILive customer with a working FlashScan V2 Scan and Tune Tool.
Have unfettered access to at least one supported vehicle type as listed on our supported vehicles page (http://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=100&Itemid=82).
Be prepared to purchase an AutoCal beta test unit, price US $150 (or use your existing FlashScan V2 device).
Have a working knowledge of Windows (2000, XP or Vista) and know how to copy/move files, install/uninstall software and device drivers.
Have a spare laptop (or desktop) that is not currently being used to run the existing EFILive software. Or be willing to install the beta software over the top of your existing EFILive software, possibly rendering it inoperable.

Application Form (http://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_rsform&Itemid=135)

There are only a limited number of AutoCal beta units. We anticipate that there will be more beta test applications than AutoCal beta units available. Applications will be selected based on the details on the application form, such as which vehicle(s) you have access to. Applications will not be accepted on a first come first served basis.

If you already have an AutoCal device then you are automatically accepted into the beta test program. However, you must still complete the application form that will be made available later in this thread. If you do not complete the beta test form then it makes it difficult for us to keep track of the beta units.

Beta applications must be submitted on or before March 13th 2009.

If you are not eligible or are not selected to be a beta tester, you will still be able to download the beta software and test it with your FlashScan V2 device.

Please do not post or email me directly asking to be included in the beta test. The application form will contain the email address for beta applications.

For workshops that intend to re-badge the AutoCal device with their own branding/logo, a template for the artwork is available here (http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?p=88352#post88352).

Paul
