Well here we go.We are new to this efi live so would appreciate all the help to get started with our new project. We have a 98 Pontiac t/a with a ls1 w/auto.Just wondering where is a good starting point and what to change? The car is driven daily so we don't want to get to crazy but we do want it to hold its own against a few of the vettes around here.

Yes it is stock just wondering what some of you have played with and your results. All it has at the moment is after market exhaust and a k&n air filter. It is a ram air package car also.We have played with a few duramax's at the shop with great results using efi live but never a gas burner.

Thrown it on the dyno/WBO2...lean it out using the PE to about 12.7:1~12.8:1 on the WB and bump up the timing a touch (2* or so). Should net you about another 10~15hp. Oh, and turn off the cat. overtemp protection.

And since you have a 98, if you want to start making more changes to the PCM you might look at upgrading to a 99-02 PCM for better table resolution and a ton of other enhancements.
