View Full Version : Flashscan Reflash?

I was trying to update my flashscan and it ended up erroring out and now it wont work at all. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to get it fixed. Will I have to send it in or can someone else give me any ideas?

My firmwire was 2.04.72. and was going to program it to the 2.06 but ended up chosing the 2.05 version the one I shouldn't of picked and it errored out and now whenever I plug it in I get the lights and then a blank screen. Nothing comes up I think I messed up big time.

Im running on vista if it helps any. I can put my v2 into dead-poll but I don't have the option in my start menu to update flashscan v2 firmware. I have a feeling I'll need to send my flashscan into EFI Live for service. Will it have to go over seas or is there a shop in the US I can send it too to get it fixed?

I tried but I only got to the reboot and then the tab said not responding. Now all I get on the screen is the EFI Live V2 Flashscan screen.

Alright I finally got everything updated and all now Im trying to reflash my computer and it says I have a bootloarder error. Any help would be great you guys are awesome.

Post some screenshots.

Also, using EFILive Explorer, goto Firmware tab, what versions does it say for bootblock and firmware...?

You flashed the FS and not the AC bootblock/firmware, right...?

What vehicle/year/model/PCM are you trying to flash...?

On the text log shown during flashing, can you copy/paste it here...?
