I transplanted a 98 454 in my firebird. I converted the computer over to a 0411 rewired it etc. I replaced the injectors out of a 2001 firebird, edelbrock intake and a holley 1000cfm throttle body (I did the same on my wifes LS1 Dragster and runs great) and a ZZ502 cam (224/234 I believe). The fuel pressure is 65 #'s

The car starts fine and idles OK, it feels rough but maintains an idle. As soon as you hit the throttle it falls flat like it's lean and the LC-1 confirms it. I had to reduce the IFR around 20% over stock ls1's and increased the fuel map by 20% just to get the car to idle. It seems weird I have to give it so much fuel over stock.

Where do I go from here? I'm lost, I have a car show this thursday and I've run out of time. Look at my log and tune and let me know what I'm doing wrong.

I'm sure the tune file is all screwed up now that I've changed it so much!

Also, does anyone have a tune file for a 454 with 4l80e they would like to share?

you might want to look at b3618 and b3605. maybe go over the auto ve tutorial again
id dial your injectors in which would provide a correct base to tune from...

Thanks for your help. I figured it out by uploading a stock tune. There was something corrupt or retarded with that tune and nothing worked, I swear all the fuel tables were backwards!

Alls well for now.

Lee,

Make sure that your tunetool is set for AFR or EQ fueling units and not Lambda.

Go Edit->Properties and set the commanded fueling units to either of AFR or EQ.

EQ = Stoich / AFR = 1 / Lambda

i.e. Lambda units are "upside down" resulting in fuel tables looking "backwards".
