Hi Guy's I have installed long tube headers on my 97 vette, getting a Po153 code, slow response! In on the installation of the headers, I had to install extension to the back o2 , Bank1 , after driving the car and checking back under the car, I found one of the extenction wires to one of the o2's were touching the header, and the coating was burned off! I found the wire was a little short so I cut and added a couple of inch's to it! I took care fixing the wire with sodier and shrink tube , Started to get these code! I have not done any tune to the car yet! car seems to run very strong! Could these code's be from the high flow cats or may be from the wire I repaired! I know with this code the pcm will lean out the car! What can i do to stop this code from coming bank! :welcome:

Headers generally set off O2 codes.
Not too much can be done except delete the codes when they pop up
or set the MIL to none.

Is this caused by the heater on the o2's not heating to temp! What do the switching points do!, and can I make any adjustment there, ??????
