Curious on a couple things here. 1: what all do I need to do to disable all torque limiting/managament/cat protection/abuse mode/traction control/unnecessary restrictive nanny BS on the truck in my sig? 2: when changing my ignition map based on logged KR, how much should I worry about the max KR values vs. the average? 3: why do I have so much trouble with my engine taking WOT advance? 4: Have I properly disabled my rear O2's and EGR system? 5: why is the stock timing table so generous in the middle and nowhere else? Attached is the tune I'm running, I have another with a slightly revised timing table to upload but can't save without the cable plugged in which is locked in my truck with the keys at the moment. :bangin:

I have a 97 C1500 5.7L 4L80E with the 12200411 PCM conversion. Sorry I'm not much help at this time but maybe in the future I'll have a lot more information.

I know I have a lot of issues as well. I have a marine intake conversion and I run pig rich everywhere. I've been using the RoadRunner and AutoVE with STRIMS from narrowband O2 while I wait on wideband O2's.

It seems my truck needs a LOT more timing (I am not supercharged). It seems supercharged situations need less timing than even stock values. My motor is stock. When the IAT sensor sees low temps (below 90?) my truck runs NICE. It was about 85 here today and very warm and sunny. My truck was running like JUNK like she always does when it is warm outside. Basically little WOT power. I didn;t check the IAT's but I will in the next week or so since it will continue to be warm and get warmer.

I'm going to work on logging when it is warm and try to figure out what exactly is going on.

Hey Eric.....what are the issues you're having?
Maybe I can help as we basically have the same setup except for mine being blown.
Post your tune.

Does the truck run OK on the stock tune?

No, my AE111 was supercharged though. I really want a whipple for this thing, then I wouldn't have to pursue the 383 route. Just gotta wait for one to come up on the cheap but first I'm going to do a 411 with COS5 swap. :cucumber: The truck feels strong at part throttle and cruises effortlessly compared to stock, but WOT really feels like something is holding it back. Stock it did the same thing but was more gutless. Here's the current tune, I'm going to go work on the 2400-3200RPM cells now from part throttle to 85kpa but the 1600 and 2000 are damn close all the way through as they are now from 45kpa+. Again now I'm curious, how much should I worry about peak knock values? My average knock values are very very low in the 1600-2000 range, 9 times out of 10 when I glance at EFIL's dashboard there's no KR until I go WOT. It acts like it wants less timing from peak torque on out when I know it should take just a smidge more since the cylinder pressures are falling. Something's just not right, have I left abuse mode or something intact?

I think it might be BTM. I thought this would only be active when trying to do a standstill burnout, but when I tried to disable (and apparently went about it the wrong way) the truck would barely move. I had changed a few things all at once, but the only thing I put back was BTM and the truck was good to go again. Seeing how intrusive this could be when the brakes aren't involved I want it gone. How can I correctly kill BTM?

I increased B1153 to 100% and noticed an improvement, a good one. So that clearly had nothing to do with your foot being on the brake, what about the rest of the cells? And why does EFI Live tell me B1153 is out of range every time I start the program? The EFI Live limit is 100% and that's what it's set at.
