View Full Version : V1 black box logging file problem

We have a customer with a V1 EFILive cable who is using it for black box logging on his vehicle. I got him set up with a PID list, he validated the PIDs remotely, etc. so the V1 cable connected to EFILive and communicated yesterday.

He did a sample recording today and the V1 cable shows that a file has been stored (yellow light is on). When he connects to the EFILive V1 interface, hits the green connect button in Scan software and then clicks Read Logged Data from Flashscan (drop down menu or icon), it shows him that roughly 50% of the memory is full on the V1 but no files show up in the log files tab. When he tries to Retrieve the data he gets an error (err_ilinklost/34). When he tried to do a Dump, he also gets an error message.

He is using software version 7.3.1. It was working last racing season as far as I know.

Any ideas? We don't have a V1 cable anymore to test with.

No, he has the cable in Florida (and I am in Indiana).
