i did some logging today on the injector duty cycles and pulse widths .i have 42lbs injectors (green tops) std items for maggie s/c
inj1dc (%) .... inj1pw (ms)
idle 103% ..... 228.565ms
wot 521% ....... 181.811ms
1. have i dialed the injectors correctly?
2. shouldnt the injectors only have a max d/c of 75-85%
3. small injector pulse withs dont go as low as 1.277 (b4004/b4003)

DrDI,
The correct injector pulse width pids for your PCM are IBPW1 and IBPW2... the other ones are for diesel applications.
The calc pids INJDC1 and INJDC2 use those two pids.

once again thanks joe
idle...............wot
ibpw1(ms) 1.709ms 12.879ms
ibpw2(ms) 1.709ms 12.879ms
injdc1(%) 1% 31%
injdc2(%) 1% 31%
is 1.709ms low enough p/w?

The green top SVO42's do something magic around 1.709ms. With my particular set, I found a PW of 1.708ms results in not enough time to squirt any fuel and 1.709ms is too much fuel for hard decel. The joys of controlling fuel injectors with static fuel pressure :) Do a search for user NitroRocket or drill thru the links in my sig for "big injectors".

will do and yes i get some funny things happening under hard decel, the low end of my ve table is always being deducted when coping and pasting logged data anything from idle down (35-0kpa) it runs rough (low rpm) and wants to stall.........
