I have a 2004 Saturn Ion 3 with a 2.2L L4 Engine and a 5 speed Manual.

I know that this vehicle is not on the Supported Vehicles List, but can I scan the ECM with the FlashScan V2 using the IL4 02+ P11 PCM settings?

At this point I am just trying to scan the car to see what turned on the Check Engine Light, I am currently not interested in tuning the car.

If this vehicle is not supported, does EFILive plan on supporting this ECU any time in the future?

The ECM markings are:
Saturn ECM
P/N 12580751
Serv No 12580756
GM04E00A00 GDZS 07092003

Thank you

I have an '04 Ion 2.2 also, automatic. I was told by the kids at the Ion forum that no one in the world can tune this vehicle and it's a major problem... So far I've scanned and logged with no problem. We'll see if it tunes.

What PCM does that use? P06, P11, or P12?

Doing well, back in the swing of things at school now though so tuning time is very limited. Not cool at all!

I cant tell by that log, but with the AFR pid being so messed up its a 4 cyl PCM haha. The same PID spews garbage on my I6 which shares a lot in common with the 97-02 4cyl PCMs.

To the OP, can you read the PCM using the 02+ 4 cyl PCM setting?

Yeah I'm on the forum learning at 4-5 am in the morning before working all day too just to squeeze in my tuning dreams. And yes I read it as an '02-'05 4cyl, not as an Atlas. I agree the OP should try both of the 4 cyl options, it may work.

Have the same car as you do my friend. Tuning this car is really a major problem for this car. I've brought it to some Saturn repair specialists and they told me that they have problems about tuning this car. I've seen some Saturn repair questions (http://www.automd.com/answers/search/saturn_m40/) in the internet that has good answers and it also helped my friend to tune his car properly.

It's just a weird ECM GM pulled from who knows where, I don't think there will ever be support from any company for that ECM. From memory I've seen it referred to as an E16.

thread from the dead lol. for the record I successfully scanned and logged this car, I still have it. Posted a log of the run somewhere here, had lots of IAT KR, and a few PIDs were inaccurate. Good little car. I understand the no support, virtually NO ONE has tuning support for this. Lovely little motor! :)
