what is the power limit to an auto vxr8

Im looking at buying a vxr8 6 speed auto and want to have it supercharged but on the forums here in the uk it says the gear box is to weak
what can i do to upgrade it

Confirming 6 speed auto? No problemo! Down here in the penal colonies 400rwkw+ is not uncommon with twin turbos with stock A6's (well stock apart from a tune). Like any auto trans or manual trans, dont abuse and you should be fine.

The GM A6 is now used on the 550HP S/C Cadi CTS-V (with a 100,000 mile warranty). Yes it has a conervatlively higher torque rating on the output section, but the input and 75% of the trans are the same as the regular A6.
