Hello all,

Im new to EFILive and have a question about when it is safe to plug into the obd 2 port. I know that some scanners and etc cant be plugged into or talking with the pcm when you start the engine, is it ok to be connected to the pcm when you start the engine? Thanks in advance.

I've not had any problems connecting before or after the engine is started.

can you be logging when you start the engine? That way u you can get cold start info and decay rates and all that good jazz?
