well i have a problem on start up in colder wheather it will go rich i think when ins in open loop. latley on 1st start up it will die like it did in the log and when i restart it i gotta give it a lil gas then it smooths out. also when driving some times the idle will fall when i push the clutch in and go in to neutral. also it likes to fall or dip when im trying to park. this is the only problems i have with the car, just some minor idle things i would like to get rid of.
in the log when i 1st started it it stalled. restarted with a lil help, i let it warm up then i turned the wheel some to watch iac steps, then i was doing some revs, then i turned it off then restarted.

Have you gone back to a stable tune that didn't have this problem?

It is interesting that you have KR showing just after the engine is getting started, piston slap? KR shouldn't be active until 70C so, give or take.

Can you turn on MAF Frequency and datalog it again?

Strange too, calc cyl air is very high once the engine is off. 3.12. Strangely high. IAC is also pretty high, more than I would expect, so it is in a place it CAN'T really manage idle at all, it is not able to move towards 0 if needed to stop the air coming in till it is too late.

i did put a new pcv valve in, its the new style that does not have the check valve its from a truck, i was told to use that to see if it would help with drinking oil.
the car is a 98 camaro bolt ons bigger intake headders and a 232/234 110+3 .600 lift cam

Might be worth checking it and see if it is essentially acting as a gaping hole for air. Just plug it up for now and see if the problem goes away, you might need stock PCV.

ill try it but it flows alot less air then the one i had in it.

ok well i started it just now with the old "higher flowing" pcv valve started up like a champ. put the new "low flowing" pcv valve and it did the start, try and stall. crap. so i guess if i want to use this new pcv valve i need to increase air flow. right?
