Hey guys, I just got my swap project on the road and the tune in bearable except for coasting to a stop. I have noticed that bank 1 pegs to +25% LTFT while bank 2 reads normal. At first I figured I had a misfire or exhaust leak, but I only does this IN GEAR. It idles very nicely in park or neutral and the fuel trims are the same on both sides. Any ideas?

Car info..
Heads/Cam 2005 LQ4 (bumped compression to ~10.5:1)
Currently running a speed density tune
Need any other info?

I attached my lasted scan and tune, forgive me noobness :hihi:

From my experience,
there can be a bit of a difference in LTFTs between bank1 and bank2.
Your LTFTs are highly negative on both sides,
You can use this PID for LTFT adjustment to the VE table.

*CLC-00-010
factor 0.0 1.4 0.2 "({SAE.LONGFT1}+{SAE.LONGFT2})/2/100+1"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CALC.LTFTBEN F010 CLC-00-010 factor O2-Wide "LTFT BEN"

Did you happen to see what I meant about bank 1 going +25%?

I know my trims are negative, but I would rather have them rich now for safely sake.

Let me know your thoughts, Thanks.

How long ago did you reflash or reset the fuel trims?
They will be wacky for a while after.

This log was after about a half hour of driving. Shouldn't they have settled pretty close by then? What is the general rule of thumb for the trims to settle in?

Either way it seems as though something else is up. It locked into them trim values every time I decelerated as if those where the correct settled in trims.

The PID I posted works very good on the VE table and the MAF at getting
LTFTs inline.

You either need adjustment, new O2's or have a leak.
I had LTFTs that high once,
it was because the shop that tuned my car made no adjustments to VE or MAF.
Because of this, I've been an EFILive owner since 2006. :notacrook:

K well I will assume the worst for now. Would it be wise of me to install my wideband on the side that is not giving me these numbers for when I do AutoVE?

I assume the PID you supplied is a kind of doing the same thing AutoVE does?

Some would say to put it on the "leaner" side".

Yes,
you can use the LTFT BEN for non PE mode tuning,
use regular BEN for WOT.

So in my case, being I am having odd readings on bank 1, would it make more sense for me to put it on bank 2 for now?

IIRC bank1 is generally the leaner.
You can configure some WBO2`s to simulate a NBO2.

I dont think we are on the same page. I have back 1 going very lean on decel only when bank 2 is half assed normal. This does not happen at idle or in park/neutral..Just seems odd to me..

Bump, Any comments?
