Howdie all!

What I have here today is a 2002 Lingenfelter 725hp 427 twinturbo.
The tune is not a Lingenfelter and it is a little rich (10.5) with inconsistent boost control (7psi through 3500 then climbing to 11-12 at 5500).

When I made my first run on the dyno the intake tube with the MAS popped off. When I got to looking inside it was saturated with oil. The more tubes
I took off the more oil I found. Long story short- turbo seals are shot and pumping oil into induction.

Turbos are coming out and going for rebuild. Tubes and charge coolers are out for cleaning.

Now, is there actualy a safe way to clean the GM MAS meter or should I toss it for a new one?
I live in the world of MB & BMW where an oiled MAS goes into circular file.

Are you referring to the MAF, in which case you can easily clean it with some MAF cleaner from Napa, Schucks, etc. Just spray on the wires and let it air dry.

Side note, not cool to hear about that! Any reason to not ditch the MAF and run in SD mode?
