which efi should i get?

i want to tune my 04 gmc truck and maybe some buddys but not sure which to get v1 or v2 the v2 does a lot more vins than the v1 but other than that is there any thing better that the v2 does over the v1?

Both V1 and V2 offer standalone logging, V2 will offer standalone reading and flashing of tunes here soon as well. V2 has support for the GM vehicles EFILive supports, V1s do not offer E40, E38, E67 or LBZ, LMM Duramax or the new 6spd transmissions. Basically 05+ stuff is mostly done with a V2.
