Hello,

I have attached a log file for reference if needed but......

Here's my problem. I simply can't get the process of creating maps figured out, specifically for total spark @ RPM or for a comparison of actual AFR through rpms for use in closing gap between actual and commanded. Knowing which PIDs to map and how to map them is eluding me.

I read and read but most posts get so deep that I get lost. If I could create a couple of useful maps, and know how to use them, I think I may finally get it.

Any specific place I should look to find more information?

Thanks

I setup a few MAPS based on your datalog. NOTE, you may want to consider using GM.DYNCYLAIR_DMA vs GM.DYNCYLAIR.
The best way to learn is to play w/the software and create your own
or edit existing ones.

AFR:
http://home.comcast.net/~booth.p/VE_AFR.map

SPARK ADV:
http://home.comcast.net/~booth.p/SPARK_ADV.map

AFR VS RPM:
http://home.comcast.net/~booth.p/AFR_VS_RPM.map

Store these in your My documents/V7.5/maps folder...
