You BB and FW are good?
Have you configured the internal settings through the V2?
There is a new version of the V8 software with FW but it is beta.
You will not be able to go back to the old FW.

Use the new V8 software. It works really well and it downloads the current options and *.pmm requirements making BBL much more fun and easy to use.

I'm not sure of the programmer's exact instructs, but this is what I found while setting up and using it.

1. Download the software and update the FS firmware to 2.6.07.efw

2. Using the window's task mgr, delete all EFI live jobs that are running.

3. Delete the current options and *.pmm files from flashscan.

4. Run the new software, update go to F6 device settings, set and save that info and download to FS.

5. Go to F3 black box logging and setup your pid's, download to FS.

6. Download both OPTIONS and PMM files.

This method of downloading the options file is far superior to the old method.
From this point forward, it would take only a few seconds to edit and download a new options file.

The installer places it in C:\Program Files\EFILive\V8\Firmware folder.
