Hey guys!

I can't seem to log the throttle position in any of my BBL tunes. There shows 2 choices but no 'parameter' name.
Although I've selected both option (and both carry over to the 'scan' side of things) it still only shows one on my log and the flashscan (SAE.TP) and that does not work for my truck.

Also the ECT (Engine Coolant temperature) does not work, it shows -40 C (I cant select imperial).

Also the Load_abs for the TCM side is not working. when i plug the flashscan in it says it's not supported. I deselect it and all is well!

Thanks!

Here's one for you Paul...

the PID named TP has never worked correctly. and is the only pid associated to the Accelerator pedal that is linked to the tables in the tune.

TP_A is not linked to the tunes tables but does correctly display and record...
You can add any PID you want as a link PID. Using Notepad, edit the \Program Files\EFILive\V7.5\Configuration\cal_link.txt file and locate the table to which you want to add the TP_A PID.

You need to add the PIDs in the correct section. Sections are denoted by the [xxx] style names. For example, the LB7/LLY links are under the section name [DMX] and the LBZ/LMM links are under the section name [LBZ].

i.e. Change this:

; __________________________________________________ _______________________
; D U R A M A X LBZ/LMM D I E S E L
; ROW runs Vertical - Y Axis ^
; COL runs Horizontal - X Axis >

[LBZ]
B0201.ROW=GM.MAFV

B0202.ROW=SAE.BARO

B1115.ROW=SAE.TP
B1115.COL=SAE.RPM

B1116.ROW=SAE.TP
B1116.COL=SAE.RPM

etc...

To this:

; __________________________________________________ _______________________
; D U R A M A X LBZ/LMM D I E S E L
; ROW runs Vertical - Y Axis ^
; COL runs Horizontal - X Axis >

[LBZ]
B0201.ROW=GM.MAFV

B0202.ROW=SAE.BARO

B1115.ROW=SAE.TP_A
B1115.COL=SAE.RPM

B1116.ROW=SAE.TP_A
B1116.COL=SAE.RPM

etc...

Regards
Paul

This is in the Beta section and i just brought this up 2 days ago. TP_A works just fine TP does not.

ECT works just fine for me

Load_abs i have never tried.

REMEMBER to keep all of your pid names in the options.txt file in ALL CAPS not lower case... This thing goofed me up one time.

you still need to do what Paul suggested to me to get the APP to be linked to the tune file while viewing a log.

Ok, I think I can figure that out! (we'll see though.. lol)

TTT
I changed the link file and it even says TP_A in my tunes, but when I highlight an area of my log it still shows I'm at 100% TP. When I'm only at 30% Ideas?

[LBZ]
B0201.ROW=GM.MAFV

B0202.ROW=SAE.BARO

B1115.ROW=SAE.TP_A
B1115.COL=SAE.RPM

B1116.ROW=SAE.TP_A
B1116.COL=SAE.RPM

B1160.ROW=SAE.TP_A
B1160.COL=SAE.RPM

B1161.ROW=SAE.TP_A
B1161.COL=SAE.RPM

B1162.ROW=SAE.TP_A
B1162.COL=SAE.RPM

B1163.ROW=SAE.TP_A
B1163.COL=SAE.RPM

B1164.ROW=SAE.TP_A
B1164.COL=SAE.RPM

B1165.ROW=SAE.TP_A
B1165.COL=SAE.RPM

B1166.ROW=SAE.TP_A
B1166.COL=SAE.RPM

B1102.ROW=GM.ENGTRQREF_DMA
B1102.COL=SAE.RPM

I tried all the TP% Pids and APP_E works the best. It looks link a little off in some areas like @ 78% it was linked to 80% in the tune, but fairly close.
TP_R was always @ 100%
APP_D reads the same as TP and TP_A but is is lower then APP_E and links even worse.

Apologizes for dredging up an old thread, but does anyone know how to adjust this in the latest software release? I don't see a Cal_Link.txt file in either program or docs folders.

In the LMM tables B1161-B1165, it shows SAE.APP_D rather than GM.APP which looks to track actual throttle pedal much better. So when linked to logged data, those tables never exceeded 90% at WOT or below 15% at idle.

Tks.
