Thanks all, I type this as I think about my last night of solid sleep for a while because Mum and baby come home in the morning. Thankfully all are doing well.

Erik, I'll teach him to count to 10 in hex first!, then I'll have him write some C code on nappy (diaper) rules....

void EvalTakeDumpInNappy(void)
{
if((DadIsNear() == TRUE) ||
(MumGoneShopping() == TRUE) ||
(GrandmaNotAround() == TRUE))
{
FillNappy = FALSE;
}
else
{
FillNappy = TRUE;
}
}

Things might slow down at my end for a few weeks while everyone settles in, but otherwise it's business as usual.

Cheers,
Ross

int EvalTakeDumpInNappy(void) {
return !DadIsNear() && !MumGoneShopping() && !GrandmaNotAround();
}

The local variable wasn't being used so the compiler complained...
I figured you meant to return the value of that local variable.

Congrats Ross & Cindy! He should make a nice addition to the durability testing crew!

BTW, WD40 takes crayon off just about everything.

Got a name yet?

Yes, Joshua.
Funny thing is, our eldest girl's initials are E.C.M, pure coincidence. We really needed this one to be P.C.M and our middle child T.C.M.

Cheers,
Ross

Now that would be hilarious!

(And when did you get this 07 Mazda 6? Looks like someone needs to start working on Denso coding now!)

The Mazda is the Mrs car. Just showing everyone I am offsetting the carbon emissions from the Cadillac with the Mazda :)

The Mazda Diesel ECM is in the passenger footwell, it has a steel plate over it with the nuts welded to the bolts! I guess they really don't want you to touch.
The engine actually makes more torque than GM's 3.6L V6 :shock: and does it at 1,800RPM, you can feel it being limited by about 3000 RPM yet the read line is at 5,000RPM. I think it has got a lot left in it, but being a FWD I'm not sure it needs more torque.
Knowing all the limiters in the Duramax I am sure this engine would be suffering the same thing, and yes, it has a DPF.

Cheers,
Ross

An Express would be fine with a 6.0L, but they don't sell them here.
