EFI Connection has spent the last year in the development and release of our new "24x" system. This system brings the Gen 3 LS1 PCM (97-98, 99-00, 01-02, 03-06, and E40) to the early small-block.

Putting the system together to use the LS1 PCM...

Vortec Timing Cover and 24x Crankshaft Reluctor
We rely on the 1996-2002 Vortec timing cover to hold our 24x CNC crankshaft reluctor and GM crank sensor.

Vortec Distributor and Sealed Cap
We rely on the 1996-2002 Vortec distributor for a 1x cam signal. Our cast aluminum distributor cap allows for the removal of the original distributor cap.

Wiring Harness
EFI Connection builds brand new stand alone and several plug and play harnesses for this application. If making your own engine harness, be aware that you must swap injectors/coils 2&3 and 7&4 at the PCM to correct the firing order.

Calibration Changes
- Load any 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, LS1, LS6, LS2, etc calibration into the PCM
- Set {B4001} Injector Flow Rate (a constant for vacuum operated regulators)
- Change {B3704} Injection Bank Assignments to match the 2001-2002 Express Van calibration (for closed loop operation)
- Load your preferred spark/fuel calibration (if any)
- Turn the key and begin fuel/spark correction

Transmission Selection
Welcome the 4L60E and 4L80E transmissions to the early small-block without the use of an expensive aftermarket controller. Also get Reverse Lockout functionality of the T56 6 speed manual transmission.

Electronic Throttle Support
This also means electronic throttle support for early small block engines. Our prototype engine uses an LS1 Corvette throttle system...thanks to the bolt pattern of the RamJet 350 intake manifold.

This is the best thing to ever happen to early gm vehicles! I have seen this system in action and it is simply awesome! This makes tuning big cams and power adders a snap! Good job mike! ill vouch for this system to anyone who has any questions!
