I am trying to find out why the LH8 only has 300hp from GM where the LY5 has like 320. Right off the bat I can see that the timing is not near as aggressive. Is that enough to get the extra 20HP?
PE seems to be the exact same.
Airflow seems to be different. I have no idea what that means though. Different cam, intake, manafold???
I also have no idea how the whole cam phasing thing works either.
Attached is my tune from my new truck. Only LY5 tune I can find is from a 2007 truck and it is also attached.
