Stock 99 Tune.

I have a stock 99 camaro z28 auto tune. I see people talking about upgrading to the 02 tune is this something i have to do or should do before i start to input tunes in my car?

No you don't have to do it. I think alot of people upgrade because the newer pcm is supposed to be more tunable for more wild engine builds or forced induction. For stock or cammed setups your 99 will be just fine.
