Oil Temp is not selectable. Would like to monitor this but how do you get it in? It's built into the factory cars so I would think you wouldn't need an external feed to monitor this.

I searched around and found a txt formula for calculated box ratio that let me select it in v7.5 after entering it into calc_pids.txt, but how would I get that into b8.1 bbl?

#Units Low High Fmt Expression
#------------ ------------- ------------- ---- --------------------------------------------------------------
*CLC-00-062
None -4.0 4.0 .3 "{SAE.RPM} / {SAE.VSS.mph} / 336.135 / 3.29 * 24.86"

#Code PRN SLOT Units System Description
#------------------------- ---- ------------ ---------------- ---------------- ------------------------------------------
CALC.RATIO F062 CLC-00-062 "None" Calculated "Calculated Box Ratio"

Thanks in advance, Ken . . .

Calc pids go in 7.5 for viewing after you log with BBL. that expression goes in the calc.pids.txt file.

Sure enough, the BBL session has the data after selecting the ratio PID. Data doesn't appear to be useful though. Often after shifing into second, the ratio still shows 1.xxx and 3rd still shows 2.xxx.

Strange it doesn't have a built in way to log gears for a manual.

Which vehicle/year/model...?

For manual transmission, there is no way to know the current gear nor the ratio.

I am going to make a calculated PID for it...

it shouldn't be too hard...

mph/rpm = xx if whatever whatever output 1st 2nd 3rd... that is the logic...

Just trying to make sure I understand...
Calc.pid's AREN'T Viewable in the V2 while BBL'ing? They are only viewable after the log has been made and saved and loaded into my laptop for later viewing?
