my 07 had a 7103 OS and the 09's Ive played with both had 8594 OS. You can do a full flash and change his OS to yours (I wouldn't) or you'll have to script your tune for his OS.

Don't go putting the 2007 OS in, with the 2009 TCM being different it might not play nice going backwards on the ECM. As the other poster suggested, the script should work fine as it's not OS dependent.

My dad's 07 LMM has the 8594 OS.

The 07 - 09 might have the same 8594 OS. Look at the Engine Operation segment ID number. The ID number might be different for the 09 because of the TCM.
Just a thought??

I just tried to compare my tune to my buddy's... both of us have 2008 LMM's and the OS is different, so compare doesn't work. It looks like I have to change them to match, but I haven't read how to do it and which to OS to use for both... good thread for me to read!

It's my understanding that the 8594 OS is the newest OS for all LMM's
