two general tuning questions - B1901 and other?

First.
My previous professional tuner changed my B1901 max allowed engine torque from 650 to 866. Is this of any valve with a ~425 hp LS1 MN6?

Two,
In that an 02-03 Z06 have different op system than an 04 is there any reason why an 04 would generally have less perceived torque or grunt than the previous two years? Is this 04 like others or an anomay?

Questions one and two are not related to the same cars.

You may be confusing newton/meters with foot/pounds. In the tables I've seen, the max setting is 640 lbs/ft. Typically, this number is set between 600 and 640, just to dial it out of the equation. Don't know about the 04 versus 02/03 values. Could be that the 02/03 setting was deemed to be the cause of too many warranty claims.
