I have OS 0127003 V3 that I'm running OLSP mafless and I get P0102 error. In the autove documentation it has me set the MAF high frequency to 1 (C2901 & C2903) but it doesnt have me change the low frequency (C2904 & C2906). What values should I use to stop the MIL light from coming on?

Step # :
14. Open calibration {C6002} " Engine DTC MIL Enablers"
Set P0101, P0102, and P0103 to No MIL.

From Tutorial .

You will still get the code but the SES light will not come on.
DO NOT DISABLE ANY OF THE MAF DTC PROCESSING ENABLERS.

I tried that when I first started and found out quickly the car won't run!
Surely there is a way to stop the code logging? (haven't looked into it)

The thing is, that you "want" the PCM to set the code. By default, the PCM believes that the MAF is in perfect working order. The PCM will continue to use the MAF signal until it detects that the MAF is in a failed state. As an example, if you set up for SD and then disable the MAF tests, your car will not run. The reason is that the PCM still thinks the MAF is working, but because the MAF has been removed, it gets no signal. The result is that the PCM commands no fuel.

The same thing occurs if you simply turn off the DTC Enabler, as the PCM no longer knows that the MAF is in a failed state. So the PCM will never switch over and use the VE table for air flow calculations. You "need" the DTC to be set so that you can actually run a SD tune.

Thanks for clearing that up. I just got the MIL light working so I didnt know if it was setting a light or not.

Is there an OS that just plain does away with MAF and simplifies all the tables? I do a lot of retrofit and drag racing and 80% off all the tables and crap just plain arent used. I've used the Holley Commander 950 on several cars and it works great and is very easy to tune and it would be nice if I had the simplicity of the Holley in the factory computer....
