Anyone try and use your rev limiter as a type of valet mode?

I want to take my car to the dealer to put on some front shocks but dont want them to abuse my car,has anyone ever reprogrammed their car to act like it's in valet mode,what are some of your methods used to do this?

Just swap over to a custom os system. Then run the wire to turn it on and off. It is simple. :)
