I have on order a L92/LS3 head and intake package, my question relates to injector settings as I believe this package comes with higher rated injectors.

Has anyone already fitted this package to their LS2? Do they provide the new injector calibrations?

Nice job mate. I hope you ordered a cam to go with it.
If you dont get injector details, just use marcin's injector spreadsheet and drop the values in. It will get you most of the way there. Accurate enough anyway.
If you want EXACT values then I wish you luck as they are as scarce as hens teeth. Unless they are GM OEM injectors and you can look them up in another tune.

I read the article around a year ago. I decided to Buy my setup from Tim at Scoggins and Dickey in Lubback TX as they were drastically less and comes with LS7 injectors. The articled show around 475 hp and almost the same torque as the LS7 but there were many SLP expensive extras.
But after reading the whole article I ordered a complete L92 427 Short block w/ccL76 heads, a nice cam, upgraded springs, manifold, LS7 injectors and fuel rail that had 625 hp/ 605 trq for $7,200.00. The install and a few extras were cheaper than the SLP package, extras and install. That is the best decision I have made and saved me a whole bunch of money.

I think they are stock LS7 39lb injectors, looking at the calibrations for an LS7 they are the same or very similar, except the LS7 use delta kPa Map opposed to just kPa

Still to order a cam, although I have ordered 1.85:1 offset rockers that can be used with stock or the cam in mind providing I get some springs to handle the high lift .634"

headers and cats coming from mr fish

I dont mind tackling any of the install apart from the cam swap

Be careful with valve clearance. The intake is a larger valve.

The cam has 8 degrees of negative overlap to keep if emmisions compliant. PVC shouldn't be an issue

Hi Mate. This is a bit overdue now, what's taken so long?. If you want some help doing the cam let me know. I've got my two post in now.

If you want a cam, I will be changing mine. I originally bought it with the L92's in mind but I've got AFr's to install now. This cam passed emissions Ok, so I'm looking for a dirtier one now!!

Gareth was that normal UK emissions test or the reduced one?
Thats interesting anyway. 0* overlap at 0.050.
Maybe Gelf has gone a bit too small..
What spec is yours Gelf?

My goal is torque and fairly stock idle, not outright bhp. Some thing along the line of a crane 216/224..

Was the lower one and only missed Euro3 by .1%. WITHOUT CATS!!!

Ordered a cam, slp again

216/229 .330/.331 113lsa 113 intake centre line

750 rpm idle

I believe their advertisement for valve events is incorrect

int opens 5 btdc closes 41 abdc
ex opens 47 bbdc closes 1 atdc

This would give 226/229 duration with 6 deg overlap and a 108 intake centre line.

Change the inlet opens to 5 atdc and everything is as it should be, 216/229 duration with -4 deg overlap and 113 intake centre line. Bearing in mind 750 rpm idle

From your spec, 113 lsa with 113 icl gives 113 ecl... from this I calculate the following:

overlap = 216/2 + 229/2 - 113 - 113 = -3.5

EO: 113 + 229/2 = 227.5 = 47.5 BBDC
EC: 113 - 229/2 = -1.5 = 1.5 ATDC

IO: -113 + 216/2 = -5 = 5 ATDC
IC: -113 - 216/2 = -221 = 41 ABDC

Your calcs assume symetrcal lobes surely Joe?

Gelf that sounds pretty good and should pass ok with room to spare.
Also looks mainsteam with regards to split for LS3 type heads. Will be interesting to see your results.

Which Im going to guess at maybe 440rwhp DynoDynamics?

Hmmm, lol, yes I did assume symmetric lobes...
