View Full Version : Anyone else BBL shut itself down after about 40 - 60 minutes?

I went on a long 5 hour trip and on the way there I only got 40 minutes of logging data before it shut itself off :blahblah:

On the way home of the same trip it logged 52 minutes....

I am logging to a SD card, it's a 2 gig brand name card. I have never had any problems with it, but, this is the first time I have tried to log anything over an hour.

The low power shut off is at 0 - every value in the flash scan (other than the white back ground blue letters) is completely stock.

Any ideas???

When you say it stops, does it stop logging and return to the FlashScan menu? Or does it stop logging data but continue to appear as if it is still logging?

Thank you Joe!

Blacky:

It stops the 'logging' but continues to show data the entire trip - can not remember if the 'frames' were moving though (i wasn't looking at that part of the screen where it shows the frames, I was looking more at the bottom...)

Ta! Might it also fix the intermittent problem where after a stop, then a restart, BBL wakes up and starts logging again, but some PID's remain locked at what they were on key off.

The BBL has had a major "refit" and the update will be available as soon as the BBR (Black Box Reading) option has made it through the beta test phase.
