I have read that timing can be based using the octane scalier the closer to 0.00 the more the pcm is using the low octane scale and the closer to 100 the more the pcm is using the high octane scale.
i have tried to log octane scalier but cant get it to work
I am using efilive os that uses duel spark tables with SD.
Can anyone provide more information on how to log the octane scalier

Depending on what style of controller you are logging your options are: LS1 = "ASPARK", High/Low Octane Adaptive Spark Scaler, GM.ASPARK
E38 = "OCTSCL_DMA", EST-Octane Scaler, E38.OCTSCL_DMA
E67 = "OCTSCL_DMA", EST-Octane Scaler, E67.OCTSCL_DMA
LS1 found under spark pid tab,E38 & E67 found under thier own pid tabs

I have LS1 and are using GM.ASPARK and it doesnt seem to be loging as it always reads 0.00 in every cell
I am using EFILIVE os with duel spark and i have checked my spark tables they are still both at the factory settings

Do any numbers show up in the DATA tab for octane scaler? What pids are you logging. What parameters have you used to build your scaler map?

Try the attached map.

I get 0.00 in all the cells i am loging dyncylair_dma, GM_Aspark, Rpm
I am thinking the adaptive spark is not turned on but i dont know which parameters to turn it on

Download this and compare it to your map
