Speed limiter

Due to speeding incidents in the family it is imperative that I set the speed limit at 75 mph max.

2008 Buick Lacrosse CXL with a 3.8 liter V6 (stock)

Can anyone tell me the minimum equiptment and the least experience I would need to do this?

According to the EFILive main website where all supported vehicles are listed, your V6 is not supported. The 5.3L V8 version of your car is, but the 3.6L V6 isnt. Im assuming thats one of the new DOHC VVT V6s that uses a Bosch computer which EFILive is probably not supporting soon.
