Im putting a 4.8 mated to a TH400 in my offroad buggy. The engine is a 99 or 2000, I forget...but its drive by cable. I want to make it drive by wire/ETC. Im getting an 03+ harness, 03+ 1 meg PCM, TAC module, pedal, and ETC throttle body.

If I just bolt all that stuff on will I have any other issues? Are any other sensors (ckp, cps, map, etc...) on the LSx motors different between 99-02 and 03+? Are the coil packs all the same? Will the 03+ ETC wiring harness drop right onto the 99-02 motor with no issues?

Also...I know in 2006 they went to the new pedal assembly style, and I would assume an updated TAC module (for the GM trucks/SUV's that were still LS1-ecm based at the time). Will an 03-05 PCM work fine with an 06-07 TAC module and pedal provided I full flash the 03-05 PCM with an 06-07 operating system??? Or were the PCM's otherwise changed internally making the two different TAC modules non-interchangeable???

thanks
Ben
