I've made a few runs with my Yukon and I have few issues that I cannot fix:

1) Even if I turn off torque reduction (D0801 & D0802) I still get timing pulled and fuel added on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts.

2) The computer goes into engine and or piston protection mode even though none of the parameters are met - what am I missing here? It's pulling a bunch of timing and adding a bunch of fuel in second gear until I let up.

3) I'm trying to make the truck shift at 4500 RPM into 2nd gear, I've changed D0901 to 27MPH in the upper TPS and D0940 to 4500RPM and it still shifts at 5000RPM. The actual speed at 4500 is 29-30.

I'm not sure what I'm missing in the program but all these parameters are pretty straight forward so I'm confused as to what's triggering the computer. This with an 0411 computer and 02020003 OS

You need to raise the shift speed, so trans will meet the set shift RPM before shift MPH so it will shift on rpm instead of speed.

also if the shift times are to slow, you may find even if you command 4500 it may overshoot a few hundred rpm before shift is completed.

Thanks.

I thought everythign I've read says the MPH has to be met first then the RPM will take over. I will look into that further....

Usually for shifts both the RPM and MPH value have to be met for the shift to occur. I prefer having my WOT shifts occur at the same RPM point regardless of MPH so I have the MPH WOT tables and the MPH 100% TPS tables set about 5mph below what it will be so the instant the RPM parameter is met the shift occurs.
