hi Eric here, wondering about the normal and performance mode on my 2000 4x4 silverado with a 4l60e , i imagine that when i press the tow haul button at the end of my transmission lever this will put me in performance mode , i ask this because i want two shifting paterns , one i can use on normal two wheel drive cruising and the other which would be the performance mode for when i am in 4x4 at the track , my present shift patern is great for all out 4x4 but way ,to hard on two wheel drive it clunks and if i happen to do a wide open 1>2 shift its all over the place , anybody thank you

thats exactly what it's there for, gives you two different shift modes, set'em how you like

In the PCM, you can adjust your Performance mode settings(i.e. button pressed)

You can Remove all of Torque Management, have different shift times, different shift pressures...e.t.c.
