Methanol "Alky" Injection

Hello,

I'm considering an alky kit for my maggie. Currently my IATs are 200 degrees F. Can someone post a log of IATs in and out of boost so I can get a feel for what kind of intake air temperature reduction I could expect while the alky is spraying? I would appreciate it! Also, if you have recommendation on what kit to go with, that would be great.

I have read that drops in IATs are not so obviose with a maggie but you will still gain knock suppression and be able to run a little more timing or just use it as an extra safty net.

on my turbo car, running straight meth, i have seen IATs around 45c on the dyno drop to 12c the instant meth starts flowing, dyno room ambiant was 19c.

car would take another 5 deg timing and power increased by nearly 50 rwhp.:cheers:

Yes with a maggie I haven't seen any difference at all in temps... Nor did I see any difference with the amount of timing that I could really push.
