I was just reading a different story about those same cameras. People will pull up out of view and stick post-it notes over them or spray them with silly string. There is a huge backlash against them from Arizona drivers.

It's pretty hard to find someone that has been saved by a camera,
they merely show you what happened after the fact.

Arizona is a large and sparsely populated state (6.5m),
less than the combined statistical area of the city ofLos Angeles (17.8m).
Cameras are turning up everywhere even in places that have low volume of traffic.

Though I think speed/red light cameras are needed in some areas
not rural highways statewide.

It's nice to see someone stand up to the state in this day and age of idol worship of political hacks.
