If this is answered somewhere...I'm sorry I did try searching.

So I'm tying up loose ends on my swap with my 87 vette. Decided it was close enough to throw on the COS, loose the rigged up MAF and finish it all up. I was toying with the VSS signal to the dash while I was flashing the COS (not in the car). While screwing around with things, I though I'd make sure I had the correct wires for the VSS by hooking the battery charger up to them, like I do on the tach wire, to see that I get a reading on the dash. Well I got no reading but I did get a spark. Anyways, no apparent harm so I went on my way, leaving the battery charger aside. When the flash was complete, I put the pcm back in the car, went to start it up and no fire. So I thought it must be something with the reflash. I returned it back to the tune I had before, but no change.
So here's were I'm at now, all the sensors are reading, the fuel injectors are firing and the tach reads, but no fire. I hooked up the timing light and got nothing. Any ideas? Could I have screwed up either the crank or cam position sensor...does one run the tach signal and other control timing?
Also I now get the 1336 code- CASE relearn needed. - could that be related.

I guess it's possible you've killed the cam or crank sensor.
Strange that suddenly you're getting a 1336 code and you weren't before?
Need the motor running to do the relearn...so 'needing a relearn' won't stop you from running.
Sounds to me like either of those sensors may have been fried.
