Every time i plug my v2 into any vehicles obcII i get this message: Error: $0185 File of Folders not found.

what is causing this? I'm wondering if when i formatted the internal memory to copy the .dtc files onto it, that it deleted out some file it needs???

That means you are missing the .pmm file for your PCM...

For example, if you have a LS1B (1999-2008 GenIII) then you need the files LS1B_A.pmm or LS1B_M.pmm in the [Config] space on V2...

You copy those files to the [Config] space using EFILive Explorer.

Which version of V2 firmware are you using...?

Should i copy all the .pmm files onto the v2 so they are there for future use? What are the affects of not having this file on there, and what is it used for?

If you only tune your one car, then you only need the .pmm file for this car.

If you tune various cars, then copy the files for those cars... if you tune a sufficiently wide variety of cars, then copy all the files.

If you don't have the file for a particular PCM, then you won't be able to log from that PCM.
