Do I need to mail warranty card?

Is registering my Flashscan serial number good enough or should I send the warranty card as well?

If you do not send in your warranty card and later need to make a warranty claim, you'll need to provide proof of date of purchase.

P.S. We are working on an online warranty registration process so mailing in a warranty card will no longer be necessary - but that system won't be ready for some months yet.
