Move V2 License Back to V1?

After letting a friend use one of my licenses on my commercial V2, he's using it to the point where it would be more convenient for him to have my old V1 hardware. Is it possible to move his VIN back to the V1? I know I'd lose a license on my V2, but I'd rather just give him the V1 hardware.

I believe you can move/copy licenses only when upgrading a V1 to V2, and it's one-time-only.

It is not possible to transfer licenses back to a V1 interface. The firmware in the V1 device is not "smart enough" to handle a license transfer.

The only option would be to send both the V1 and V2 devices to EFILive here in NZ and we can transfer/reconfigure the licenses for you.
The only cost to you would be shipping and the time it takes to ship.
