Hi there,

after my 2007 LMG swap into a 1997 Tahoe I started addressing the last glitches.
With the '07 engine, tranny, E38 and T42 I still had problems with the proper 4wd tunes. Without a '07 NVG246 and the correct TCCM the 4wdlo signal and some CAN messages were disabling the V4 mode. The only solution was to use 2wd tunes in ECM and TCM. That resulted in a not shifting tranny in 4wd lo ( speed signal issues.)

I went the way to install a 2007 NVG246 and related hardware ( see: http://www.pacificp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9160)

But now I am standing in the dark 'cause I don't know a way to scan the TCCM for codes. I guess EFIlive doesn't read codes of the TCCM?

Does anybody have an idea?

Harald

Sounds like you got it all setup!

BTW, if you ever need someone from Spaldings, they're a ten minute drive for me here in Spokane...

Good to know that Spaldings is round the corner.

I'am glad that I finally made it. It was a long, sometimes hard, way. Here in Germany there's no parts source, no buddy nearby you can ask.... so I was on my own.

Thanks to the internet and all you helpful guys out there I could make it.

Thank you all for the help and information you provided. Also thx to the EFIlife crew, they have a very good product and were also only an email away if I had problems..

So if ever someone of you makes it to Germany just drop me a line...Beer and Bratwurst....
