PCM locked, had HP flash... can't access?

any thoughts- i am sure i've been through this before, won't let me access tune on read (bolt-ons) changed to cam/ heads and brought to me for tune. I have unchecked high speed & check try alt keys. I "believe" the tune was not locked, but it was an HP cal. Do I flash in stock tune and start over (with tech II) or can I read it somehow???

Does it actually read the PCM then fail, or fail right at the start?

If it's a pptuner COS then you won't be able to read it.
I think it will be locked automatically if it is a pptuner COS as well.

Hp locks their tunes if you load one of their Custom OS's into your ECM. It can be unlocked. I have unlocked a few of these...
