Well apart from the engine/convertor side, not quite a bolt in as the case is a little over an inch longer and depending on which chassis the 6L80E is in, the extension housing/output stage may be different in length too. OS's are generally the same from year to year with exceptions across different platforms. :)

It's in a g8. I can have the driveshaft shortened and make a trans crossmember if need , that stuff I'm not worried about the electrical part is what I'm wondering about. Will the harness plug into the 90 ect.

Yes it will plug right in. Connector is the same. :)

What is trashed in the 6L80. We hear of mainly failures in the 4-5-6 area. :(
