Lookin for some help here guys!

I really would like a new chassis dyno for my shop at home.

It's not like I want to install it in the living room or "her" kitchen either.:)

ANY ideas????

Thanks, John

Use the following "facts":
- using the dyno you can optimize the car for fuel efficiency,
- using the dyno you can save wear/tear from actually driving on the street,
- using the dyno you are much safer compared to "street dynoing",
- using the dyno you can find/fix problems that you could not otherwise,
- using the dyno saves you having to pay someone else to run on their dyno,
- all of the above make you greener and therefore you're saving the planet...
- "it's only $8000" and it comes with everything included",
- "I just saved us $42,000".
:hihi:

But beware, if you buy something, the trend is for the other to feel left-out, so the other will buy something of equal-or-greater value (whichever is the greater dollar amount)...:hihi:...and that is fair, it's only money after all...

And remember: do not make jokes about this, that's a no-no.
:hihi:

Unfortunately Joe anyone (ME) who burns off 5 set of rear tires in the driveway has NO hope for becoming green. LOL

Even with the dyno how can one NOT do driveway burnouts??

Isn't that the secret of life.....a good burnout?

when I say "green" I usually say it with a hint of sarcasm... it makes me think of the tree-huggers ("save the planet, damn the humans") here in CA...:bad:

:) <--- smiley added to improve the tone of my post...:hihi:

Yeah a burnout gives me the feeling of purpose in life......I smack my tires getting on the freeway as often as I can (we have "metered" on-ramps... you wait til the signal goes from red to green, then you go... just like the 1/4 mile strip).

Don't use this : My wife was hinting about what she wanted for our upcoming anniversary. She said, I want something shiny that goes from 0 to 150 in about 3 seconds.
I bought her a bathroom scale. :help2:

Good one. :D

Tell her they are have a special offer for a limited time. It comes with a free diamond tennis bracelet or some other goody that she might like. Then just juggle the books.

Apparently dynos are not the hot ticket right now.

The salesman wants to drive 3 hours to show me their stuff.

I just mentioned that to my wife.

"Hey honey try to get a diamond salesamn to drive 3 hours and make a sale!"
